Neil Gorsuch Sworn In as 113th Supreme Court Justice
By Neil A. Carousso
Judge Neil Gorsuch was sworn in as Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States on Monday morning, filling the vacancy on the Supreme Court left by Justice Antonin Scalia who passed away at the age of 79. Justice Gorsuch, 49, is the youngest sitting justice and the youngest to be confirmed since Clarence Thomas at 1991 at the age of 43.
On Sunday’s “The Neil A. Carousso Show,” this host and guest Chris Fazio analyze the confirmation hearing process, Gorsuch’s judicial record and potential future SCOTUS nominees by President Trump who may have an easier time being confirmed because of the change of Senate rules to avoid a Democratic filibuster.
